A village club, 45 seasons on
Kavery Sports Club was founded in Periyaneelavanai in 1981. Cricket is where it started and still where the village gathers.
In 2023 the club set up an education wing, the Kavery Education Development Association, so that what happens off the field matters as much as what happens on it.
Cricket for the village, scored ball by ball.
Free classes run by KEDA, the club's education wing.
One crest for players, students, parents and members.
Kavery Education Development Association · Since 2023
Free classes. Every child welcome.
நற்கல்வி – அறிவுசார் சமுதாயம் · Good education, a knowledgeable society
KEDA is the club's education wing. It runs free scholarship-exam classes for Grade 4 and 5 students in Periyaneelavanai. There is no fee, now or later.
No fees
Classes, papers and marking are free for every student.
Attendance on record
Each class keeps a register, so a child who misses lessons is noticed and followed up.
Marks that are tracked
Every exam is recorded per student, so teachers can see who needs help before the scholarship paper.
